Emerging Scholars Committee Message to Conference Attendees
The Emerging Scholars committee is dedicated to the development and support of new generations of scholars of Haiti and the Haitian diaspora. We coordinate mentorship events and advocate for the particular concerns of students and emerging scholars with the association.
Emerging as a scholar is an ongoing process and we welcome participation from all self-identifying emerging scholars. Those programs which are restricted to current students (undergraduate and graduate) are labeled as such.
Call for Graduate Student Volunteers
The Haitian Studies Association seeks 6 volunteers (compensated with reduced registration) to assist with running our 35th Annual Conference, “Ayiti Se Tè Glise: Im/Migration, Movement & In-Betweenness” in Atlanta, Georgia, October 5-8th, 2023 at the historical campus of Morehouse College.

Le comité des chercheur.es émergent.es se consacre au développement et au soutien des nouvelles générations de chercheur.es d’Haïti et de la diaspora haïtienne. Nous organisons des événements de mentorat et nous soutenons les intérêts particuliers des étudiant.es et des chercheurs émergent.es au sein de l’association.
Émerger en tant que chercheur.e est un processus continu et nous accueillons la participation de tou.te.s celles/ceux qui se définissent comme chercheur.es émergent.es. Les programmes qui sont réservés aux étudiants (de premier cycle et des cycles supérieurs) sont spécifiés.
Appel aux étudiants de master et doctorat
L’association des études haïtiennes cherche 6 volontaires (dont les frais d’inscription seront réduits) pour aider au déroulement de sa 35ème conférence, “Ayiti Se Tè Glise: Im/Migration, mouvement & l’entre-deux identitaire” à Atlanta, Georgia, du 5 au 8 Octobre 2023 sur le campus historique de Morehouse College.
