Traveling to Gainesville “where nature and culture meet”
Gainesville regional airport (GNV) is served by American Airlines and by Delta. From northern major cities, American Airlines changes aircrafts in Charlotte, NC (CLT), while Delta does it in Atlanta (ATL). From southern cities and the Caribbean American Airlines stops in Miami (MIA) for Customs and changes aircraft.
Jacksonville (JAX) and Orlando (MCO) are good alternative when more than one person travels. They are both international airports served by American Airlines, Delta, United, JetBlue, and Spirit, where you can rent cars to be dropped or kept in Gainesville. JAX is 90 minutes northeast of the Holiday Inn and the Reitz Union. MCO is two hours south with tolls via Florida’s Turnpike and I-75 North.
JetBlue departs from Port-au-Prince (PAP) at 5:00 pm and arrives at 7:28 in MCO; it leaves MCO at 1:44 to arrive in PAP at 4:00 pm.
